Two-way data sync empowers you and your team with a comprehensive and seamless inspection process

RentCheck's Yardi integration supports a two-way data sync between Yardi and RentCheck to ensure property, unit, and resident information is always up to date in RentCheck while automating inspection and work order processes.

Sync your properties, units, and residents

Unit Sync

Instantly sync active units from Yardi. You can control which units you want to send from Yardi before enabling the sync. Units are synced daily. On every sync, when a matching unit is found the unit will be updated with new information. Otherwise a new unit will be created in RentCheck.

If a unit is the only unit associated with a property in Yardi, then the unit is considered single-family and the default single-family room configuration will be applied on creation.

If there are multiple units associated with a property in Yardi, then the unit is considered multi-family and the default multi-family room configuration will be applied on creation. A corresponding building will also be created in RentCheck with units assigned to that building.

Data mappings for the Unit Sync are outlined below.

Building Sync

Instantly sync active buildings from Yardi. Buildings are also synced daily. When a property in Yardi is associated with more than one unit, then a building will be created in RentCheck. On every sync, when a matching building is found the unit will be updated with new information. Otherwise a new building will be created in RentCheck.

Data mappings for the Building Sync are outlined below.

Resident Sync

With the Resident Sync you can instantly sync active residents so you can schedule resident-led inspections with ease.

The Resident Sync imports your tenant directory from Yardi. Contact details including email and phone are kept in sync along with resident status and key lease dates such as lease start, lease end, and move-in dates. The Resident Sync runs daily. When a resident moves out, they are removed as a current resident from the unit in RentCheck.

Data mappings for the Resident Sync are outlined below.

Sync inspection reports by sending them back to Yardi

Ensure that inspection reports are automatically sent back to Yardi upon completion. With the inspection sync you can forget about having to manually download reports from RentCheck and upload back to Yardi. Completed inspection reports are batch updated in Yardi daily and attached to the corresponding unit as a pdf attachment.

Inspections that have been synced to Yardi are indicated in RentCheck along with the sync date as shown below.

Create work orders in Yardi automatically from RentCheck inspections

With the work order sync you can send work orders to Yardi as you are flagging items for maintenance during the inspection review process. Save time and address issues faster by getting started on repairs as soon after inspections are completed. Work orders are created in Yardi in batch, daily.

Notes entered during the inspection are pulled into the maintenance flag and work order. As items are flagged for maintenance a category must be selected in order to create a Yardi work order. The categories and subcategories provided are the user-configured maintenance categories and subcategories set up in your Yardi account and are pulled directly from Yardi.

Data mappings for the Work Order Sync are outlined below.
