Getting started is simple:
Select which units you want to be included, whether it’s all units or select units in your portfolio
Select the type of inspection you want to automate (e.g., move-in, move-out).
Decide when the inspection should be created - by specifying the number of days before or after a move-in or move-out date.
Decide when the inspection is due - by specifying the number of days after the inspection has been created.
Choose who the inspection should be assigned to - whether it’s a teammate, a resident, or someone else.
Head to Account > Inspection Automation to get started! You can also find detailed instructions here.
Once you’ve set it live, enjoy peace of mind knowing that crucial move-in and move-out inspections are being created and assigned automatically.
Automate Recurring Inspections
Need inspections to repeat automatically on a schedule? RentCheck’s Repeat feature allows you to automate recurring inspections across your portfolio without manually recreating them each time.
You can configure automations to repeat:
Monthly
Quarterly
Semi-annually
Annually
Or on a custom schedule
This is great for:
Routine property checks
Air filter inspections
Seasonal inspections
Mid-lease inspections
Preventative maintenance workflows
To configure recurring inspections:
Go to Account > Inspection Automation
Open an existing automation or create a new one
Locate the Will this inspection repeat? section
Choose your repeat schedule
Save your changes
Once enabled, RentCheck will continue creating inspections automatically based on your selected repeat interval.
