To get started using RentCheck, it’s important to get your unit and resident information added.
Units
Let’s take a look at how to pull your unit directory from PropertyWare so it can be uploaded to RentCheck.
2. On the left-hand side of the screen you will see Report Folders. Select “Unit Inventory” to start building your report.
3. Select “Unit Summary” to customize the report. From here, you will need to select the details that will allow you to quickly upload your units. Make sure the following items are checked:
Bathrooms
Bedrooms
Type
Unit Address
Unit Address Cont.
Unit City
Unit State
Unit Zip
4. Select “Lease Summary”, “Portfolio Summary”, and “Lease Reports” to ensure that no other fields are selected. These should be blank as seen below.
5. On the menu across the top of the report, select the “Export/Print” option. Select the MS Excel option from the dropdown menu.
Residents
Adding residents to RentCheck makes the inspection request process super easy. When requesting an inspection, the resident and their contact information auto-populates, so you're not left wondering who should receive the inspection.
Let's take a look at how to pull your resident directory from PropertyWare so it can be uploaded to RentCheck.
Navigate to "Reports" in the top menu on the right-hand side of your screen.
2. On the left-hand side of the screen you will see Report Folders. Select “Lease Reports” to start building your report.
3. Select “Tenants - Current” to customize the report. From here, you will need to select the details that will allow you to quickly upload your residents. Make sure the following items are checked:
Address
Address Cont.
City
First Name
Last Name
Home Phone #
Mobile Phone #
State
Zip
End Date
Move In Date
Move Out Date
4. Select Export/Print, then select MS Excel. Your file will be downloaded and you can share with the RentCheck team for upload!
