What is the Quick Condition Check?

The Quick Condition Check template is a high-level inspection designed to provide a fast, straightforward way to assess a unit’s general condition. With guided prompts and easy-to-follow steps, this template is perfect for both property managers and residents, allowing anyone to complete an inspection quickly and confidently.

Why Use a Quick Condition Check?

This template is ideal for situations where a quick, accessible inspection is needed. Unlike the Fast Track inspection—designed for experienced property managers who prefer minimal guidance—the Quick Condition Check provides helpful prompts, making it easy for both managers and residents to assess the property thoroughly.

This template is ideal for:

Routine Monitoring: Great for regular check-ins to confirm the property is well-maintained.

Documentation of Property Condition: Easily capture photos and notes on any visible wear, tear, or new damage.

What Does the Quick Condition Check Cover?

The Quick Condition Check Template offers one general section per room, giving a straightforward overview of each area’s condition. Each section includes a question to note visible damage, with options to add additional photos or videos as needed. This template keeps the inspection efficient while capturing essential details in every room.

How to Use the Quick Condition Check Template:

1. Choose the Quick Condition Check Template when setting up a new inspection for your unit.

2. Assign the inspection to residents or anyone responsible for routine inspections.

3. Send out the inspection directly from RentCheck.

4. Automated reminders will go out to prompt completion, but you can send additional reminders if needed.

5. Review the completed inspection: If more details are needed for specific rooms or sections, request a revision. This will reopen the inspection and prompt the inspector to add any missing information.

6. Generate work orders or maintenance reports based on any issues identified.

How Long Does it Take?

This inspection is designed for efficiency, taking around 15 minutes to complete.

With its accessible and user-friendly format, the Quick Condition Check template is a practical tool for property managers and residents alike, providing a simple yet effective way to monitor unit conditions and maintain high standards.
