How Can Inspections Be Deleted in RentCheck?
Managing inspections in RentCheck sometimes involves deleting inspections that are no longer needed. This article explains the scenarios and processes for deleting inspections, whether manually or automatically.
Overview of Inspection Deletion
Inspections in RentCheck can be deleted under specific conditions:
Manual Deletion: Uncompleted inspections can be deleted directly from the Inspections tab.
Automatic Deletion: Inspections are automatically deleted if their associated property is removed.
Manual Deletion Process
To delete an uncompleted inspection, follow these steps:
Log into your RentCheck account and navigate to the Inspections tab.
Locate the inspection you wish to delete. Only inspections with statuses such as 'Not Started' or 'In Progress' can be deleted.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the inspection.
Select Delete inspection from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action will permanently remove the inspection from your dashboard.
Note: Once an inspection is completed and submitted, it cannot be deleted manually.
Important Notes and Limitations
Only uncompleted inspections can be deleted manually.
Completed inspections are permanently stored and cannot be removed.
