Introducing Resident Maintenance Flagging!

Our latest feature empowers residents to report maintenance items during inspections.

How to get set up:

  1. Go to your account settings page and locate Maintenance Settings.

  2. Toggle ON, Resident-Reported Maintenance, which will allow residents to flag items for maintenance while performing inspections.

Items flagged by residents will be highlighted for your review and will not automatically generate work orders.

Resident Flagging within the RentCheck App

While using the RentCheck app, residents can create a single flag per feature (e.g., one flag for bathroom lights). Residents have the option to attach notes and/or images to the flag. After submitting the inspection, you can review both the inspection itself and the flags in our web app.

Reviewing Resident Maintenance Flags

Resident Maintenance Flags are displayed alongside regular flags, marked by a red notification icon. During inspections you can add your own flags which will be visible on the same page.

Head to the Flags Page to manage Resident Maintenance Flags. Here, you can edit and view all flags created. Utilize this section to generate work orders or maintenance reports using resident or internally flagged items, or a mix of both!

If you have questions or need assistance, we’re here to help!

Cheers!
