Updated this week

We've introduced exciting updates to our Inspection Filters UI, making it easier than ever to manage your inspections. Here’s how you can take advantage of these improvements:

Quick Filters Overview

At the top of your inspection list, you’ll still find our standard quick filter chips, just like before.

However, instead of being located on the right side of the screen, filters are now grouped under a new Add Filter button.

Clicking this will open a drop-down menu with all available filters.

Available Filters:

  • Assigned to Me: View inspections assigned to you or completed by you.

  • Date Completed: Filter inspections by time frames like “this week,” “this month,” or set a custom date range.

  • Due Date: Similar to Date Completed, but for upcoming inspection deadlines.

  • Feature Rating: Filter based on the ratings left for features during an inspection.

  • Archived Inspections: Include or exclude archived inspections in your view.

  • Inspection Status, Templates, and Teams: Filter by inspection statuses, templates, and teams.

Example Use Case:

Filtering Active Inspections

To view only active inspections:

  1. Open the Add Filter menu and select Inspection Status.

  2. Choose ‘is none of these’, then select Scheduled to exclude unsent inspections.

  3. Click Apply to activate the filter.

4. You can layer additional filters to refine your results. For example, to filter by a specific team, search for and select the team, then click Apply.

Easily Filter for Inspection Templates

RentCheck’s quick filters now allow you to search for specific inspection templates. These templates can be marked as active, unpublished, or deleted for you to be able to easily identify.

Filter Persistence

One of the best parts of this update is that your filters will stay in place even if you navigate away from the filter page. When you return, there’s no need for you to re-apply, saving you time!

Clearing Filters

When you’re ready to reset or adjust your filters:

  1. Click the X next to each filter to remove individual filters.

  2. Alternatively, click the Clear All button to reset everything at once.

This flexible system is designed to streamline and make your workflow more efficient and will support even more advanced features in the future.
