What is the Inspection Timeline?
The RentCheck inspection timeline allows users to have one source of truth for all inspection events. Easily track when an inspection was created, how many times the invite email was opened, when it was completed, as well as when reminders were sent so that there’s never any dispute.
How can I access the Inspection Timeline?
To access the inspection timeline on any inspection, click on the inspection to access the inspection details page. Click the “Manage” button and select “View Inspection Timeline”. To view an inspection on your mobile device , select any inspection and click on the 3-dot menu in the top right, where you’ll see the “View Inspection Timeline” in the dropdown.
What events are recorded in the Inspection Timeline?
The events recorded are:
Inspection created - when an inspection was created.
Inspection requested - when an inspection invite was sent out.
Inspection request accepted - when an inspection invite was accepted.
Inspection edited - when an inspection is reopened and edited.
Rooms added - when there were rooms added in an open inspection.
Marked as complete - when an inspection was marked as complete from the Manage tab.
Inspection started - when an inspection was started.
Inspection signature requested - when a signature request was sent.
Inspection signed - when an inspection was signed.
Inspection shared - when an inspection was shared.
Reminder sent - when an automatic email reminder was sent to complete the inspection.
Reminder SMS sent - when a reminder was sent via text.
Reopened - when an inspection was reopened after it had been completed.
Maintenance report shared - when a maintenance report was shared.
Inspection completed - when the inspection was completed.
Revision requested - when a revision request was sent for an inspection.
Revision request canceled - when a revision request was canceled.
Tip: If you’d like to print out the inspection timeline to generate a PDF report, press 'Control + P' (windows) or 'Command + P' (mac) when the inspection timeline window pops-up.
