Overview

If you delete an inspection but a resident still sees it in the mobile app, this is expected. The resident can still complete any new or current inspections as normal.

Why This Happens

When an inspection is assigned, it becomes available in the resident’s app. If the inspection is deleted after the resident has already opened or started it, it may still appear in their inspection list.

If the resident attempts to open an inspection that has been deleted, they will be prompted to delete it from their app.

Will This Affect Other Inspections?

No. A deleted inspection showing in the resident’s app will not prevent them from opening or completing the correct inspection.

If the resident is unsure which inspection to complete, confirm the correct one by checking the inspection name and due date.

Can the Resident Remove It?

Not at this time. Residents can’t manually remove assigned inspections in your account from their app.

This helps keep inspection records consistent and prevents a resident from accidentally removing an inspection they still need to complete.

If the resident taps into an inspection that has already been deleted, they will be prompted to delete it from their device.
