What is AI Damage Assist?
AI Damage Assist uses artificial intelligence (AI) for an on-demand feature that analyzes inspection photos and flags potential critical damage. Instead of manually reviewing every image, AI highlights specific areas that may require attention and provides a short description to explain what it found. The AI will review all of the photos to detect critical issues no property manager would want to miss, like water, structural, electrical, and plumbing damage.
The goal is simple: Reduce manual review time and accelerate maintenance workflows, so your team can confidently manage more properties without added risk.

Video Walkthrough:
Step 1: Run AI Damage Assist
Open any completed inspection from your Inspections list and click the "Scan Inspection" button to start the AI analysis. The AI will review all photos in the inspection. This typically takes just a few minutes, depending on the number of photos. The scan runs in the background while you continue working.
Step 2: Review AI findings
Once the scan is completed, you'll see magic wand icons (🪄) next to rooms or areas where damage was detected. It works for both the inspection list and media view. Then use the AI quick filter chip to view rooms or areas with AI-detected damage.
Click the room/area or any image to open details; the AI category & description appear beside the photo. Use the damage category filter to view only images in that room with a specific type of damage.
Room/Area Level:
On an individual image, you can see all the damage that was detected.
Step 3: Take action
Approve or deny the damage using the thumbs-up and thumbs-down buttons. A thumbs down will reject the damage and hide it.
Create a maintenance flag straight from the dropdown. This can be done for an individual image or a room/area as a whole. The suggested flag skill is auto-selected, the notes are pre-filled, the relevant images are already attached, and you’re done.
