What is the Property Merge Tool?

The property merge tool gives you control over your account management. Customers with integrations enabled can now merge unsynced properties and their inspections with synced properties. Those without integrations can merge all duplicate properties.

Why is the Property Merge Tool useful?

Recently added an integration but noticed duplicates from properties previously entered manually? Hint: You might see these units labeled “Not Synced with AppFolio” or “Not Synced with Rent Manager.” Or maybe you don’t have an integration, but in manually adding units you now have several duplicate entries in your account?

No worries! Here’s how to leverage our new property merge tool-

If you have an integration:

  1. From the Properties tab, go to the unsynced property and open the property details page.

  2. Click the property merge tool next ot the “Add Inspection” button

  3. From the “Choose Unit” dropdown, type in the target property this unsynced property should be merged with. While the target property should be a synced property, you can merge this property with another unsynced property.

  4. Click “Merge”.

If you don’t have an integration:

  1. From the Properties tab, go to any duplicate property and open the property details page.

  2. Click the property merge tool next ot the “Add Inspection” button

  3. In the “Choose Unit” dropdown, type in the target property you want to merge with. This will be the single instance of that property moving forward.

  4. Click “Merge”.

It’s as simple as that! Don’t worry! Once the merge is complete, you won't lose any inspections from your previously duplicated properties.
