RentCheck allows users to request additional signatures on completed inspections.

This can be helpful for the following cases:

  • A completed inspection needs additional signatures from residents

  • A completed inspection needs additional signatures from team members

  • A completed inspection needs additional signatures from owners

In this guide, we’ll show you how to request signatures from any of these parties.

Steps

  1. Once an inspection has been completed, signatures can be requested from the Inspection Report view in the RentCheck mobile app and web dashboard.

  2. Locate and select the Manage tab near the right of the inspection details page.

  3. Select “Request Signatures” from the drop down menu.

  4. A new window will pop up prompting you to Add Emails and enter Additional Comments. Enter these details.

  5. Double check that the recipient addresses and notes to recipients look good, and select “Request Signatures.

Recipients of this request will receive an email like the one below. Clicking on the link will direct them to download or sign into the RentCheck app. Once logged in, they will be taken right to the inspection so they can review and sign!
