What is a RentCheck Periodic Inspection?
Periodic Inspections, also known as Routine Occupied Inspections, are designed to document the condition of a unit during occupancy and help ensure that a unit is being maintained by the resident.
Periodic Inspections create an opportunity for property managers and landlords to communicate with their residents. Property managers can ensure appliances and safety items such as smoke alarms are up-to-date and serviced.
Periodic inspections can be completed by residents easily and quickly. Periodic Inspections can be done on the residents' own time without having to coordinate an in-house inspection and contain fewer steps than a move-in, move-out, or annual inspection.
How long does a RentCheck Periodic Inspection take?
RentCheck Periodic inspections typically take about 30-40 minutes to complete depending on the size of the unit. If a Property Manager elects to perform the inspection, we recommend utilizing our fast-track option which takes about 10 minutes to complete on average. Learn more about fast-track inspections here!
